Torpedoes

Like in classic Moo2, the War Moo mod have 3 types of torpedoes: Anti Matter, Plasma and Proton ones.Yet their damage, space value and tech levels are very different. The weakest and basic torpedoe is Anti Matter one. Second in power comes Proton. And Plasma are the most powerfull ones.

Anti and proton torpedoes have base space of 36 and 24 points. Plasma takes 64 space. They miniatiruze with each research level in their technology tree. Torps cannot be shot down. Base mods are:

OVERLOADED: +50% space cost and +50% more damage. Level 3 upgrade.
ECCM: 50% less chance of being jammed.
ENVELOPING: +100% space cost but gives 4 times base damage.
NO DISSIPATION: only for Plasma Torps - eliminates dissipation rate at 5% per 1 field of movement.

Plasma Torpedoes move at speed of 24 and have unlimited range. Anti Matter move at speed 20. Protons are different and move at speed 24 striking their target ( in range ) the same turn they are fired. Anit-Matter torps fire every 2nd turn, while Protons and Plasma EVERY turn now.

Anti Matter torps do 36 base damage, with overloaded and enveloping mods 216 damage.
Plasma torps do 120 base damage, with overloaded and enveloping mods 720 damage.
Protons torps do 30 base damage, with overloaded and enveloping mods 180 damage.

Important Notice: Above values can be achived only if enemy has no shields and weak jamming technology. Torpedoes armed with ENVELOPING mod hit all sides of shields in same time.

Torpedoes do not require computer to hit. If player have DAUNTLESS GUIDANCE SYSTEM they can target another nearest one when their primary target has been destroyed.

They have unlimited ammo like beams. Only thing that can stop them a bit are jamming systems.
