Using Map Generator

Mapgen.exe attached to zip package is a program which alters the save10.gam file in moo2 directory. It should be placed there as well and run from dosbox. I reccomend to use it only after generating a turn 0 (start) save. Otherwise it might destroy save game and produce unwanted errors. You must keep mgweight.txt in same directory with mapgen.exe

Very popular use is: mapgen.exe -tfixedhw -ssplint -mmonst -bshowring10
This setting makes planets appear in home star: large abundant swamp, large abundant arid, large poor tundra, medium poor terran. This is a common stanard of our multiplayer online games.

WarMooG3.exe is based on GoodMap3.exe and gives equally 3 planets in every system outside home start. It makes many plantes wet type. There are no ultra riches except monsters and orion. Mapgen and WarMoo combined gives fairly balanced maps without need of many restarts. Here are all switches used in mapgen.exe:

Special change (command is set with -s+smth):
-ssplint -Splinter worlds are replaced by gem deposits
-sarti -removes free techs from artifact planets
-snonatives -replaces all natives on the map with gold special

Monster switches (command is set with -m+smth):
-mgrav -removes heavy or low gravity from monster planets
-mterraform -terforms bad climates to tundra
-mmonst -combines above two switches

Calculation balance and exposing nearest sector (command is set by -b+smth):
-bcalc -extracts data from the save for calculation purposes in form of CSV file.
-bshowringX -reveals all planets within X parsecs from hw, should enter your number of parsecs instead of X, e.g. -bshowring10

Terraforming switches (command is set with -t+smth):
-ttiny all tiny planets on the map are substituted by smalls
-tsmall all small planets on the map are substituted by meds
-tupoor all ultrapoor planets mineral richness is changed to poor
-ttoxic all toxic planets on the map are substituted by radiated
-tlowg all LowG planets become normalG
-theavyg all HVG planets become normalG
-flathw Planets in hw become abundant, toxic planets become radiated and radiated become barren, gravity is set to normal unless the gravity of hw is different, in that case planets #1, 4 and 5 recieve same gravity as of hw; size of planets becomes: large, large medium and small
-tfixedhw Fixed planets appear in hw: large abundant swamp, large abundant arid, large poor tundra, med poor terran
-tgaia 5th planet becomes either small poor gaia for subterranean race or the race without capacity modifiers, aquatic and tolerant get med poor terran; subt creative race does not receive gaia! It gets med poor terran as aquatic and toleran race.
-thugehw first planet in hw becomes huge
-trichhw first planet in hw becomes rich
-tgoodhw first planet in hw becomes huge terran rich
